A-Basin opens this Friday, October 19th which officially marks the beginning of the 2018/19 ski season!

Arapahoe Basin in Colorado joins Wolf Creek (already open) and Loveland, which opens on Saturday. A-Basin has 2 feet of natural snow already, and plenty of snowmaking efforts have been underway. Last year, A-Basin opened on October 13th, making Friday’s opening on the 19th only a few days after last year. Starting at 9am on Friday, the Black Mountain Express will start turning and Colorado’s lucky skiers will take some of the first turns of the season.
