The World Kiteboarding Championship kicks off this September in Akyaka, Turkey and this video is here to psych you up! The best in the world will go head to head for the championship, catching all the wind and waves that the Eastern Mediterranean has to offer.

This is the first event of the year and marks a new era for Kiteboard Riders Association (KRU), who have now officially taken over from World Kiteboarding League (WKL) as the home of freestyle kiteboarding. Their goal is to move the sport away from corporate sponsors and put it back into the hands of the riders!
