Andy Irons is a name synonymous with surfing. The promising young surfer grew up on the North Shore of Kauai in Hawaii, and quickly became a player on the international surfing scene. Troubled throughout his life by bipolar disorder and drug addiction, his passing at the age of 32 came as a shock to the surfing industry and those around him.
