Skier and filmmaker Daniel Ronnback presents Born in Chamonix, featuring the skiing life of local legend and racer turned big mountain skier Tof Henry and his roots in Chamonix. In Daniel’s words:
“‘Steep skiing doesn’t exist’. It’s just a word, the angle of a run. Skiing is skiing. From generations, the knowledge has been past over. A passion for flow, speed and beautiful untracked powder runs. Follow the story of a young boy growing up in Chamonix. Death, love, passion and the history and heritage of a small village in France. After two years and 9 months work, finally I’m grateful to present ‘BORN IN CHAMONIX’.”
The film also explores the history of Chamonix’s lines and those who rode them for the pure joy of it, not just for the glory.
