Wow. This video just blew my mind. Matchu Lopes was born on the island of Sal in Cabo Verde, and grew up around the waves and wind. He got his start in watersports bodysurfing in the waves at the ripe age of 4. By 10, he was kitesurfing.
In this unreal video from Indonesia, Matchu catches some barrels and some great freestyle off the coast. You can see that 15 years of kitesurfing experience shine through in the way he charges through the surf.
