If you didn’t watch the car show ‘Top Gear’ growing up, this may be lost on you. The crew from Stoke Farm ventured over to the Netherlands to meet kiteboarder Stig Hoefnagel. When one of their producers discovered his name was Stig, the connection was immediately drawn to the famous “tame racing drive” – the Stig – of ‘Top Gear’ fame. The idea of the race was born!
