Patagonia is batting .1000 when it comes to poignant and critical documentaries about conservation, particularly in the world of fisheries. This new film speaks about the science and culture of fish stocking and hatcheries, and how human interference with wild salmon systems is the problem instead of the solution. From the filmmakers:

Artifishal is a film about people, rivers, and the fight for the future of wild fish and the environment that supports them. It explores wild salmon’s slide toward extinction, threats posed by fish hatcheries and fish farms, and our continued loss of faith in nature.

A film by Josh “Bones” Murphy
