Last week, we posted about the Rob Douglas’ World Championship run in Oman, where he topped out at 50.252 knots (58 mph) to win his third Kite Speed world title. That’s a blistering run. But today we’re re-living the moment in 2017 when the Frenchman Alex Caizergues broke the kite speed world record to become the fastest kiteboarder in the world. His record has yet to be beaten. Caizergues run was 57.97 knots over a distance of 500 meters. That’s 66.71 miles per hour.

Watch his run in the video above – it’s incredible. Then come kiteboarding with us.
