I first met TJ (Tom Jackson) at Silvertip Lodge in March 2019. We were paired in the same heliskiing group with Tom and his buddies. My wife and I instantly felt at ease when TJ broke the ice. I can’t remember the exact joke he told or what funny offhand comment he made, but we instantly felt at ease. He had us laughing at the bar at night, and even out in the mountains. He has a magnetic personality.
It’s no wonder that TJ has been helping people find their ideal heliskiing fit since the 90s. TJ has now traveled to more heli-skiing operations than most, has deep connections with the staff and ownership at many of these locations, and will wow you with how much detail he has about each destination. TJ is the founder/owner of heliski.com, where he creates detailed reviews and articles on his experiences. If you are looking for a first-hand account of what it’s like to go heliskiing in BC, his site is the perfect research tool.
TJ claims to have never had a “real job” but don’t let him fool you. He takes what he does seriously. He has worked in tech for over four decades and has worked in a wide range of industries from VR/immersive 3D to cannabis. He has been CEO of six high-tech startups, but that hasn’t stopped him from pursuing his passion for skiing.
Heliski.com was created with a clear mission: provide expert advice on where to go heliskiing. Tom has hundreds of testimonials and a solid network of people who rely on him to help them choose their next adventure.
We couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with TJ and the team at heliski.com to help provide access to even more heliski operations, as well as all the other sports we offer at Heli. Tom’s customers will now have access to new destinations and activities like fly fishing, surfing, kitesurfing, yachts, villas, mountain biking, and more.
