For the second edition of Heli’s Digital Nomad Series, we feature the sandy beaches of the Caribbean. With warm water, gusty wind, and slow rolling waves, the Caribbean is a tropical paradise.
In this issue, we highlight one of our latest operator partners, Kitesurf Roatan in Belize, with their beautiful Camp Bay Lodge, as well as the unmatched luxury of Casa Tremer in Turks & Caicos.
Don’t forget your sunscreen.
The Best Kiteboarding Spot in the Caribbean
Turks and Caicos
Mention kiteboarding and the Caribbean in the same sentence and you’re likely to kickstart a conversation around “the best spots.” You’ll undoubtedly hear votes for Cabarete in the Dominican Republic, or perhaps Necker Island or The Grenadines. While arguments for all of those places do have some validity, the riding in Turks & Caicos is on par or above all of them. Despite its famous white sand beaches and insanely blue water, Turks is still relatively under the radar considering the world-class conditions it offers.
Camp Bay Lodge
Camp Bay, Honduras
The Camp Bay Lodge sits on over two kilometers of white sandy natural beach on the Caribbean Sea. The simple setting has magically kept the natural beauty of this special place on the island by enhancing the natural foliage on the beachfront. As always, the backdrop of the Caribbean breezes caressing the palms and sea-grape trees is the final element of Camp Bay that makes the east end of Roatan such a unique place.
Casa Tremer
Long Bay Hills, Turks & Caicos
For those looking for a more customized approach to Alaska, we offer the opportunity to reach out to us directly via the button below. Alaska can be daunting, but there are many ways to navigate the landscape. Furthermore, if you are there for several weeks, there are certain operators that allow single-day heli-skiing bookings which we would be happy to accommodate for you.
